In this 5 week, in-person series we will dive into the technique of Metta Meditation which combines breath, mindfulness and mantra to help us deepen connection with compassion and peace. Along with the Metta Meditation, this course will also include gentle, heart opening asana (postures) and song!

Sliding Scale: $108-$200 for all 5 weeks

Compassion and peace are deeply needed in the world. These qualities are first revealed within the individual. Once a person has begun the journey of cultivating inner peace, it then radiates outward to communities, countries and the planet.

Throughout history there has been war, division and suffering. There has also been wonder, friendship and grace. It is easy to get swept away by news, social media and current world circumstances, not to mention our own individual joys and hardships.

How do we maintain a sense of balance, a feeling of peace and compassion for oneself, for others and for the greater circle of humankind?

For many thousands of years, there has been a tradition in many cultures of practicing loving kindness, Metta meditation or Maitri Meditation. This is a simple method of consciously cultivating unconditional friendship, compassion and love for self and other.

In this 5 week, in-person series we will dive into the technique of Metta Meditation which combines breath, mindfulness and mantra. Whether you are new to this practice or you have been working with loving kindness for years, you are invited to join me in deepening connection with compassion and peace.

This series is offered on a sliding scale between $108-$200 for the 5 week course. Contributions can be sent via Zelle to eringahan@gmail.com or Venmo @eringahanclark or you can talk to me about bringing cash or check the day of the event.
